Candidates for nomination for the Office shall file a written statement of intent expressing their intent to run for the Office as a Republican with the Chair by email at chairman@henricogop.com, which statement must be actually received on or before 5:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, June 6, 2021. Postmarks do not govern. If only one person shall properly file for the Office, then such properly filed person shall be declared nominated as the Republican candidate for the Office and the Special Meeting shall be cancelled. The Committee reserves the right to nominate a candidate in the event there are no pre-filings by the aforesaid date and time.
